Australia – ACMA blocks more illegal offshore online gaming sites

The ACMA has requested that Australian internet service providers block more illegal offshore gambling websites, after investigations found two services to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
The latest sites blocked include: Pokizino and ABA Lucky 33.
Ο αποκλεισμός ιστοτόπων είναι μία από τις διάφορες επιλογές επιβολής για την προστασία των Αυστραλών από τον παράνομο διαδικτυακό τζόγο. Από τότε που η ACMA υπέβαλε το πρώτο της αίτημα αποκλεισμού τον Νοέμβριο του 2019, έχουν αποκλειστεί 652 ιστότοποι παράνομου τζόγου και συνεργατών.
Πάνω από 180 παράνομες υπηρεσίες έχουν επίσης αποσυρθεί από την αυστραλιανή αγορά από τότε που η ACMA άρχισε να επιβάλλει νέους παράνομους κανόνες υπεράκτιων τζόγου το 2017.
